ORANGE HO SLOT CAR CONTROLLER BY DS 120/90/60 OHM FOR AURORA TJETS TOMY MEGA G+

Description

This adult sized HO slot car controller by DS (specializing in Electronic Racing Products) has a 120 ohm resistor board, additional electronics in the handle and a switch that allows the user to toggle between 120 ohm, 90 ohm and 60 ohm resistances.  The new Tomy Mega G+ cars call for a 120 ohm resistor controller but the ones that come with the Mega G+ sets are child sized and of minimal quality.  All three resistance levels, controlled by the switch on the back of the controller give excellent control for the casual t-jet user or serious t-jet racer.  This is an excellent slot car controller for any slot car with a high resistance power band.    This controller can be used with the JG Comfort Grip handle I have for sale on Ebay as well.  Controller comes with three open lead wires.  The black and white wires can be spliced into any type of two wire set up whether home set use or commercial track.  The third (red) wire can be used to provide electric braking on tracks so wired.  This controller has a ORANGE plastic handle.

Century controller?  This DS controller uses a modern resistor board instead of a 1960’s single wire wrapped ceramic resistor.  The advantage is simple, the DS is super smooth.  The DS also comes with a longer heavier gauge flexible connector wire for greater reliability and ease of use.  See my listings for a complete offering of single range and multiple range controllers.  Also, unlike other modern transistor board controllers, the DS is NOT polarity sensitive.  It can be used on tracks wired positively OR negatively. While other controllers come with a 24 inch lead wire, DS controllers have a full 3 foot long lead wire.
