All time classic prank! The original
Adams
etched water tumbler. This clever ruse has 3 miniature holes around the glass about an inch below the rim. Here's how it works. Unknown to the user, the 3 holes are spaced in locations on the circumference.
They are so small you can't see them without close scrutiny!
All is fine when the glass is setting there, but beware when someone picks it up to drink from it. No matter how it is held, some of the liquid slowly dribbles down the outside of the glass and drips off the side onto their chin.
It is slow enough of a drip to be very annoying.
This is the typical water glass style made by Adams' and in use from the 1930's through the 80's.
