YOU ARE PURCHASING 10pr OF REPRODUCTION H.O. SCALE RIMS DESIGNED TO FIT YOUR H.O. SCALE AURORA G+.  THIS LOT INCLUDES 5 PAIR FRONT RIMS AND 5 PAIR REAR RIMS IN WHITE.
THE REAR RIMS CAN ALSO BE USED WITH TOMY SRT/TURBO/SG+ AS WELL AS ALL AFX STYLE AXLES.    !!!!!!!PLEASE READ DETAILS BELOW!!!!!!
G-Plus Front Wheel:
These new G-Plus front wheels are molded in color in the USA from ABS plastic.  These are stock replacements for the original Aurora G-Plus front wheels and can be used on all Aurora G-Plus, Super MagnaTraction and the various Super MagnaTraction variation chassis.  These wheels follow as closely as possible the dimensions of the original Aurora wheels.  Please read the notes below.
Note: If so desired, ABS plastic can be painted and/or chromed.
Note: While the front wheels for the G-Plus and Super MagnaTraction type chassis had different size holes for the axle and used a different mounting mechanism, the shape of the wheel is nearly identical.  Sizing the axle holes for the smaller G-Plus axle allows the wheel to be adapted to work on Super MagnaTraction type chassis.  The axle hole size for the G-Plus wheel is .065" and needs to be opened to approximately .088" in order to spin freely on the Super MagnaTraction front axle.  There is not much leeway when opening the hole for the Super MagnaTraction - if the hole is opened too much the wheel will not snap onto the chassis.
G-Plus front wheels, like the AFX front wheels, have a raised ridge in the center.  In fact, the tire area of the AFX and G-Plus front are identical.  Some original tires covered the entire wheel and had a groove inside the tire which fit over the ridge.  Other tires only covered the outside half of the wheel.  When using only the outer half of the wheel, inexpensive O-Rings can be used.  If desired, O-Rings could be used on both the inside and outside half of the wheel.
Note: While every attempt was made to use the same dimensions as original Aurora wheels, these have a slightly wider center ridge than the originals.  Despite this slight difference, tires made for the original Aurora wheels fit without modification.
Note: Some Super MagnaTraction variations used a front wheel without the center ridge.  Wheels with the center ridge can replace them.
These wheels are designed with a unique six-spoke pattern.  Other replacement wheels are available with this same pattern, including AFX, Super MagnaTraction and G-Plus wheels.  This allows the wheels to be used in any matching combination.

These new G-Plus rear wheels are molded in color in the USA from ABS plastic.  These are stock replacements for the original Aurora G-Plus rear wheels and can be used on all Aurora G-Plus chassis.  These wheels follow as closely as possible the dimensions of the original Aurora wheels and use the long Thunderjet or G-Plus axle (see notes below).
Note: If so desired, ABS plastic can be painted and/or chromed.
Note: Original G-Plus cars came with sponge tires which were glued to the wheels.  Since the tires were glued on, the original G-Plus wheels had no use for a rear flange or collar.  In order to accommodate slip-on tires, a rear flange and collar were added to these wheels.  Adding the flange (.040") and rear collar (.015") has increased the width of these wheels by .055".  The tire area remains the same as the original so the tire size has not changed.
Note: These wheels can also be used on all Aurora AFX, AFX MagnaTraction and Super MagnaTraction (including variations) chassis.  They can also be used on all Johnny Lightning and Auto World X-Tractions which use the standard .0625" axle.    The stock Aurora G-Plus used a wider tire than the AFX; therefore the wheel was wider.  Replacing AFX rear wheels with G-Plus rear wheels will allow the wider G-Plus tires to be used instead of the standard AFX width tire.  The only significant dimensional difference between the AFX and G-Plus wheel is the increased width of the tire area on the G-Plus wheel and therefore an increase in the overall width.
